Does anybody know if this is available anywhere?

The domain seems to be gone.

Clarification: this magazine was published in the 1990s. According to worldcat.org a couple of US uni's have copies, but I am looking for the CD. I do not know the date of the advertisement.

  • For info: Unless it's you by another name, the person behind this Gist on GitHub wants the same thing, even linking to the same form (near bottom of page). – TripeHound Feb 14 at 9:39

The Wayback Machine later redirects cdpubs.com to slorevo.com (SLO Revo, Inc.), and a Google search connects that company with a Steve Mann.

  • I somehow doubt it is the same person. "STEVE MANN, bestselling author of Programming Applications with WAP (Wiley), is President of Creative Digital Publishing, a leading provider of technical information and software for the handheld and mobile computing industries. Mann released the first freeware application for Palm and is the creator of the most widely distributed Palm travel application, WorldFAQ .(TM) He is also the former publisher and editor of Handheld Systems magazine." • "1,870 people named Steve Mann" (https://www.spokeo.com/Steve-Mann) – Tomas By Feb 12 at 0:03
  • @TomasBy You're right, it isn't the same person. – snips-n-snails Feb 12 at 0:23

If the site and company are no longer in existence then it may have to come down to using one of the many online auction sites ( eBay / SellMyRetro ) etc amongst others to see if said CD Rom is up for sale there.

Assuming it is not in archive.orgs CD software collection that is and you want or need original media.

Copyright status I could not comment either way on as the material in question I am not familiar with.
