I’ve come to the conclusion that the stepper motor in my Apple-II compatible Laser FD-100 is seized. The screws are stripped so it’s basically unrepairable. Does anybody know what kind of stepper motor it uses?

Mind to add what parts you're talking about? Maybe add a photo of what is of concern.

  • Are the screws of the stepper motor bad, or the screws to open the drive? Can you drill out the screws? Are you asking what kind of stepper motor the Laser FD-100 uses, or something else? If you cannot open the drive or unscrew the stepper motor, how would the information what kind of motor it uses help you?

  • The screws to open the stepper are bad. i would like to add a picture but this website makes it so you can’t just upload one.

Yeah, you can and I know it works on this site because other questioners have done it.

Now that the OP added a photo, I fail to see the point of this question. The photo clearly shows the model, voltage, and brand of the motor. Doesn't the question now answer itself?
